Orbuc is operated by Qubittron Consulting Inc. ("Qubittron," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Orbuc platform, including our web and mobile applications. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Orbuc, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the service. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Orbuc is a global sentiment platform that enables users to vote on current topics and issues that shape our world. The service includes:

  • Voting -- casting anonymous votes on AI-curated and community-driven topics using a four-point scale.
  • Vigils -- time-limited collective expressions of sentiment on emerging events.
  • Badges and achievements -- rewards for consistent engagement, including streaks, voting milestones, and league rankings.
  • Real-time results -- live sentiment data with regional breakdowns and trending analysis.

3. User Accounts

To use Orbuc, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials and not share them with others.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Harass or threaten other users or Orbuc staff.
  • Spam the platform with repetitive, irrelevant, or automated content.
  • Manipulate results by creating multiple accounts, using bots, or engaging in coordinated inauthentic behavior.
  • Impersonate other individuals or organizations.
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures, reverse-engineer the platform, or exploit vulnerabilities.
  • Use the platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws.

5. Content

Orbuc contains a combination of user-generated content (such as comments and opinions) and AI-generated content (such as topic descriptions and summaries). We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes and may not always be fully accurate.

6. Intellectual Property

The Orbuc platform -- including its design, code, branding, and AI-generated content -- is owned by Qubittron Consulting Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your opinions and the content you create. By using the platform, you grant Qubittron Consulting Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute your contributions as part of the service (for example, aggregated voting results).

7. Anonymous Voting

Votes cast on Orbuc are anonymous to other users. No user can see how another user voted. However, the platform may use aggregate voting data for analytics, trend reporting, and content generation. Individual vote records are stored internally as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that is harmful to the platform or its community. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

9. Disclaimers

Orbuc is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Voting results reflect user opinions and should not be interpreted as scientific polls or statistically representative surveys.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Qubittron Consulting Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Qubittron Consulting Inc. in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100 CAD, whichever is greater.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the Province of Ontario.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Qubittron Consulting Inc. regarding your use of the Orbuc platform and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, regarding the service.
